Talon Air is looking to hire a Full Time Maintenance Technician to help maintain our Hawker 900XP fleet. This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of Talon Air aircraft and equipment. You will work directly with senior management & take extreme pride in the fleet of hawkers to insure they are being maintained properly.
As an aircraft detailer, you will be tasked with detailing high end private aircraft as well as assist with aircraft movements for our maintenance department.
Aircraft maintenance technicians are trained to adjust aircraft engines and pneumatic systems, remove and install aircraft components and diagnose problems..
Talon Air is seeking a lead maintenance technician based in SDL to oversee our Global 6000 and Falcon 2000 aircraft. This lead mechanic will lead all SDL maintenance events and perform regular preventive inspections on both aircraft.
The Charter Coordinator based in Farmingdale, NY (FRG) is responsible for all aspects of Talon Air’s Clients (Aircraft Owners and Block Charter Clients) flight experience. Client centered customer service and an understanding of CFR 14 parts 91 and 135 are essential. This position is in direct contact with our highly successful, high net-worth Clients, and their representatives. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment are essential personal qualities for the successful Flight Coordinator. Immediate response to Client requests is of the utmost importance.
The Chief Inspector develops, implements and monitors the inspection program for both the Part 135 Air Carrier and the Part 145 Repair Station Certificates to ensure that the maintenance of aircraft and associated equipment conforms to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and manufacturers’ specifications. Possesses the final authority to release airframes, engines, propellers, appliances and emergency equipment to service. Works closely with all maintenance staff to ensure adherence to all standards, policies and procedures and serves as a liaison with local FAA. Reports to the Director of Maintenance related to Part 135 Air Carrier responsibilities and to the VP/GM of Aircraft Maintenance related to Part 145 Repair Station responsibilities.
The Chief Pilot is a critical leadership role for the Operations Department. The CP will bring in andmaintain a strong track record in aviation that includes a focus on safety and successful management of the pilot workforce. The CP will provide day-to-day leadership and motivation for the pilot team to deliver excellent technical and operational performance needed to achieve overall department goals. This includes recruiting, training, career path management, and aircraft operating standards. Additionally, the CP will support Talon Air’s exceptional customer service interest with clients while utilizing the services offered within the department.
